Circuit of The Americas is an exciting hub for all kinds of entertainment located just outside Austin, TX. The facility hosts Formula 1, MotoGP, and NASCAR, as well as a full calendar of concerts at the huge outdoor amphitheater located just under the iconic COTA tower.
We are constantly challenged by the variety of events that come to our venue — from world-class motorsports and major concerts, to festivals, corporate events, and community experiences. The fast-paced environment means that new creative opportunities are around every corner.
Promoting events of this magnitude requires a team effort, and as the creative lead I partner with marketing and social media team members to produce print and digital ad campaigns, outdoor signage, newsletter content, social media graphics, promo products, vehicle wraps, and more.
MotoGP
One of the most exciting races on the MotoGP calendar happens at Circuit of The Americas. This event in particular is full of personality and fun experiences, from popup activations from brands like Tecovas and the Handbuilt Show, to the daredevil’s favorite sideshow - the Wall of Death. With excitement and intensity around every corner, the event’s visual creative relies on bold colors and dynamic elements to build anticipation throughout the year.

The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix is the largest event hosted at Circuit of The Americas. Hundreds of thousands of motorsport fans descend upon the Circuit year after year to watch their favorite drivers and teams take on COTA’s 20 turns while expecting world-class entertainment off-track, as well.
While the creative direction is reimagined each year, the event’s positioning regularly combines inspiration from the rugged Texas hill country and the bold, high octane visuals established by the Formula 1 brand. All graphics are created with the guidance of the Formula 1 asset kit and brand guidelines, paired with recognizable COTA personality.
